Got Married, Became Pregnant, Bought House

Melanie and Mark moved to San Francisco in 1992, got engaged in 2000 and eloped on the Big Island of Hawaii on 5/3/7.

After a long search for the perfect home, we finally found one in the Oakland hills. We made an offer -- our first bid for any dwelling, in November of 2007. We found out we were pregnant during escrow, bought the house and moved in on 12/20/2007.

We began planting in anticipation of our newborn.
