After a long search for the perfect home, we finally found one in the Oakland hills. We made an offer -- our first bid for any dwelling, in November of 2007. We found out we were pregnant during escrow, bought the house and moved in on 12/20/2007.
We began planting in anticipation of our newborn.

I am glad that Liam is finally here. He is so handsome. We really look forward to coming out and meeting him. I hope you guys are finding plenty of time to rest between feedings and his nap time. I am very proud of how well you took care of Melanie during the labor. She did an excellent job of bringing Liam into the world. She is a very strong woman to have endure so much pain for so long before giving in to the ephidural.
