Carmel Mission

We spent some time touring the Mission San Carlos Borromeo de Carmelo, which was first established in 1770. In 1961, the Mission was designated as a Minor Basilica by Pope John XXIII.

    that picture of Mark solo with liam in seat on ground, made me laugh. Mark you get this strange solemn "holy" look in places like these..

    lol, I think Melanie said something similar to that when the photo was being taken. It was a strange, solemn, holy area of the mission, off the alter and next to the confessionals.
