One Month Old, Its Grandparents Day!

Wo. What happened? It was one of those weekends that both lasted ages and flew by, depending on whether the perspective is what took place or what was accomplished that was planned on getting accomplished. Today Liam was one month old. He went to his second restaurant -- his first breakfast out. He attended the local jazz festival. He met Rowan and Ehab as well as Josh and Caitlin. He spoke with Grandma Nemeth ("nana") and Grandma and Grandpa Arens. He slept. He ate. He had his diaper changed.Grandma and grandpa Arens sent Liam a happy balloon and a piggy bank duck filled with fruit.

Over the weekend, Melanie was so excited one night to get about 4.5 hours of sleep, that she wasn't able to get back to sleep.

    It looks like all of you had a fun filled day. Taking a picture of me 3,000 miles away talking to Liam, is another technology wonder.

    You can't really tell in the small-format video, but on the full-screen version, its sort of funny/cute to see him flailing his arms around in the corner inset video while you are talking.
